Thank you Mr. Fisher….we love you!!!
Not often does a person come into your life that makes a lasting impact as Mr. Fisher made in our lives. Both John and I were very fortunate to have him for our band instructor and a huge mentor in our lives. He was always there to give advice (not always what you wanted to hear), give a hug and most important be a friend. Mr. Fisher told me several years ago to stand up and own your own voice and in all decisions that you must make you should always write a pro and con list to guide your outcome. I have used this advice in most every situation that comes my way.
During the past few years John and I have had the pleasure of spending time with both Mr. and Mrs. Fisher while working on their “honey do” list. From painting to helping Mr. Fisher chase away those “pesky rabbits” that were destroying his prize garden. This time will be cherished for a life time.
We will both miss Mr. Fisher terribly. He was an incredible person that blessed not only our lives, but so many others. Thank you Mr. Fisher…we love you!!!!

Thank you John and Barb. I am comforted in knowing that you not only were apart of Dad’s life back in high school but also in recent times. Especially getting the place looking so great for the family reunion this last September which was so important to him.
It is also great because I share the same memories that you do because of our class proximity and being in band together.
Barb, thank you for helping prepare the memorial service and I look forward to seeing you both this weekend.
